What People's Say About Place

Thomas Keller said “A recipe has no soul. You as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe.” Well, clearly the Lich King from Warcraft was operating the oven the other night because they put an incredible amount of soul into the pizza. When my buddy posted a video of his ex wife in our group chat. We all knew what had to be done. He had to eat the fish fry pizza or we were not letting him back in the chat. The fish fry pizza has long been a source of intrigue for my friends. I got it a few times and both occasions I found the pie to be not palatable. Months went by, even years, and the legend of the fish fry pizza faded. The video of the ex wife was enough for the fish fry pizza to have heard its master’s call. So we ordered one the other night. The chef that made the pizza showed their absolute depth of understanding in relation to texture and flavor. They understood that the tomatoes needed a gentle touch. There was clear intention shown with the amount of tartar sauce and the cook of the pie. The lettuce. Above all else, we feared the warm lettuce. The chef chopped it to an appropriate size and put just the right amount on. All I have to say to the person that made this fish fry pizza - Bravo. May you sleep like a bambino until the end of your days. Five Stars.

I had to come to leave a 5 star review. Everything I’ve had here has been amazing. Pizza, subs, pasta dishes(meatballs, chicken parm), Motz sticks, calzones. Staff is always kind and welcoming. Not sure how this place doesn’t have closer to a 5 star. One of my favorite takeout spots within city limits.

I've been to this location a few times and haven't had any issues. The employee answering phones is always nice and the restaurant is clean. Food is always great! Can't go wrong with salvatores!

Good pizza and efficient. Good location in the South Wedge. More of a take out piece but they have a couple of tables to eat there but better choice to take it a park and eat nearby.

Always great pizza, and our calzones were excellent, Greg is always busy making awesome food, we appreciate you.

We love our local Sal’s. The folks that work there are very friendly! Wait is never long when I call ahead for pick up (10-15 mins). Our kids love their subs and pizza. I had a yummy chicken Caesar wrap. We go often and will be back!

Prices are a bit high compared to other pizza places, but the service is great and the quality of the food is stellar.

Seriously these peeps are the best in the neighborhood. I've been ordering from them for over a decade and they never let me down. I was very sick today and had to call in to my side hussle and they delivered my colleagues lunch then delivered me and my kid dinner. Food is great and the people who work here are the best.
